It’s not all bad, but it’s not all good
The breakfast options were great, with an omelette chef adding a personal touch. The location is prime, right near attractions and dining options, making it easy to explore the city.
The beds were rather snug, making it difficult for families to sleep comfortably without compromising space. A bit of inconsistency with breakfast details left some confusion upon check-in.

A sweet stay with a view
I loved the cozy atmosphere and the stunning views of Kumamoto Castle. The staff made me feel incredibly welcome and their attention to detail was remarkable. Proximity to cultural sites and the shopping area was a big plus!
However, the room felt a bit tight for three people and the breakfast could have had more variety. Also, the early dining hours limited our late-night food options.

the room was cramped and adjusting the air conditioning was a nightmare, it was sweltering! the breakfast buffet could’ve had more options, too. Frankly, I expected better treatment. a complimentary drink or a room upgrade would have been nice, but alas, just another mediocre experience I could almost forgive, but just couldn’t.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel! The views from our room were breathtaking, especially of the castle and mountains. The staff was incredibly accommodating, even helping us arrange a private tour. Don't miss the delicious bakery inside the hotel, and the location is perfect for exploring shops and restaurants!
The only downside was the lack of a business center and gym, which would have made our stay even better.
